In which countries is Eddy's Adventure rental service available?
Eddy's Adventure currently supplies Germany, Austria, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark and Belgium. Other European countries will follow in 2025.

We ship the products so that they are with you on your first day of rental at the latest. The products usually reach you 1-2 days before your first day of rental, but we cannot always guarantee this due to external DHL logistics. We recommend that you schedule the delivery of the rental products and therefore the start of the rental one day before your departure/start date. This gives you a little buffer and you can still get to know the products.

In Germany and Austria we offer free shipping for orders over 75 EUR! For orders up to 75 EUR shipping costs 5.95 EUR.
Return shipping is always free!
For other countries such as Sweden, Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands, different shipping policies apply. Shipping costs are calculated and shown during the checkout process.

We have a minimum rental period of 3 days. You can choose the rental period flexibly in daily increments. We have a maximum rental period of 6 weeks. If you would like to rent for a longer period, please contact us and we will give you an individual offer for your duration.
If you would like to borrow a larger number of products as a group, please contact us personally or send us an email to info@eddysadventure.de.
What condition are the products in?

Our products are generally new or, if they have already been rented, in as good as new condition. After each rental period, the products are checked, repaired or, in the case of major defects, replaced with new products.
Safety-relevant products such as climbing harnesses etc. are subject to a separate inspection (visual and haptic). Our employees are trained for this inspection.

Yes, the equipment is always cleaned after each rental, whether it is a backpack, tent, sleeping mat or sleeping bag.
We use biodegradable cleaners that have as little impact on the environment as possible. If you see water stains on products, these are not dirt, but an indicator that the surfaces of a tent or sleeping mat, for example, have been cleaned. The drying process then occasionally leaves water stains.
Our sleeping bags are cleaned with a down detergent.

Yes, you can also buy the borrowed items if you want to keep them and not send them back to us. Talk to us about this early enough. We will then give you an attractive special price for your items, since you have already used them.

Google Pay and Apple Pay are also possible.

You can cancel your order/booking up to 5 calendar days before the scheduled start of the rental. The invoice amount you paid will be refunded in full to the payment method you used. This process can take up to 3 days.

However, so that the products can be used for as long as possible in the interests of environmental protection, we would like to ask that you remove any coarse dirt from the products and send them back to us in dry packaging. DRY because otherwise mold can form very quickly after a few days and thus permanently damage the product.

The rented products should be returned to us within 1-2 working days after the end of the rental period. The date of delivery to the shipping service provider/parcel shop/DHL station is what counts.

No, you do not need to clean the products as we check and clean each item after the rental process.
First of all, here is the most important thing:
- Only pack products dry
- just knock or shake off very coarse dirt
- do not put any product in the washing machine or dryer
- do not use chemical cleaners
However, in order to ensure that the products can be used for as long as possible in the interests of environmental protection, we would like to ask you to ensure that the products are free of coarse dirt and sent back to us in dry packaging.
The tent, sleeping mat or sleeping bag should NOT be packed up damp after your adventure, otherwise they can quickly become moldy and damage the high-quality functional fabrics.
Please do not clean with brushes, chemicals, detergents or washing machines, as this may damage the products.
How do we deal with damage to the products?

In general, report any damage to us and don't be afraid of the consequences. We are not inhumane. We look for the best possible solution for the situation.
Relevant to us are damages caused by atypical or
improper use or violent use.
Examples of this would be:
- the tent zipper or the sleeping bag zipper is stuck and attempts are made to release it using force.
- A sleeping mat is placed on sharp stones or smooth cuts from a knife.
- The tent floor has holes or damage because the
Tent base/footprint has been omitted.
If damage is caused by atypical or improper use, we will try to repair it as best as possible. In this case, we will only charge you for the repair costs. However, it is important that the item is then restored to a visual and functional condition.
so that the next tenant receives a flawless product. However, if the damage is so great that repairs are pointless or the product can no longer be put in perfect condition for the next tenant, we will charge you the replacement price for the product, i.e. the purchase price.
